The health meditation taught in Bali Usada itself is a meditation technique to train the mind to become harmonious, which entails strong concentration, followed with other good virtues, namely: consciousness, calmness, gentleness, compassion. It takes the form of an intensive meditation retreat which lasts for seven days and six nights. UTB1 always starts on sunday afternoons, and finishes on saturday noons. The purpose of UTB1 is to bring about our harmonious mind and use it to heal the sickness in our bodies.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Over the one week period, participants will be guided to thoroughly learn about the Bali Usada meditation technique. From learning how to sit in meditation properly, to practicing the healing meditation technique. Each meditation session will start with a brief explanation and instruction, and ends with a short physical relaxation exercise. There will be eight guided meditation sessions each day.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In between these meditation sessions, participants will be able to listen to Pak Merta\u2019s talks twice daily. Pak Merta will explain about the technique and the philosophy which underlies the Usada Tapa Brata dan health meditation, complete with various interesting stories and case studies from Pak Merta\u2019s own practices.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants will also practice Bali Usada\u2019s special exercises twice daily. These exercises are designed to help us relax, feel refreshed, and maintain the level of our energy and determination. This activity is an inseparable part of the overall meditation process.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Noble Silence<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To help calm our mind, improve our concentration level, further activate the healing process, and deepen our experiences, participants will observe the \u201cnoble silence\u201d (or in Balinese we call it \u201ctritapa\u201d) during the period of Usada Tapa Brata. Noble silence will enable the participants to contain themselves by not talking, writing, reading, or daydreaming.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Meal and Snack<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All meals and snacks served during the program are vegetarian. Vegetarian cuisine is important to help the detoxification process, as well as to calm our body and mind. Where participants who plan to take part in this program are advised to have attended UTB1, diligently meditate, and usually sit for 1 hour. An intensive meditation retreat for 12 days and 11 nights, starting on Tuesday afternoon and ending on Saturday afternoon the following week. The purpose of the UTB2 program is to train Harmonious Minds to become skilled and to heal diseases in our bodies more proactively.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the 12 days, participants will be guided to further refine their meditation technique. From learning the four elements, 12 the characteristics, and the seven frequencies of our body, to revisiting the body\u2019s four structures. Each meditation session will commence with a brief introduction and instruction, and finish with a short physical relaxation exercise. In UTB2 , participants are encouraged to be more independent in their meditation practices.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In between these meditation sessions, participants will be able to listen to Pak Merta\u2019s talks twice daily. Participants who set the intention to participate in this program are advised to have completed UTB2 at least twice. UTB3 is an intensive meditation retreat which lasts for 12 days and 11 nights. It starts on a tuesday afternoon and finishes on the saturday noon of the following week. The purpose of UTB3 is to reach a condition that is called One-pointedness.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the 12 days, participants will be prepared and guided to reach the state of one-pointedness. This includes understanding the concept of one-pointedness, learning the various different techniques that are available, and choosing the one that is suitable to every participant. Each meditation session will commence with a brief introduction and instruction, and finish with a short physical relaxation exercise. In UTB3, participants are even more encouraged to be independent in their meditation practices.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As with the previous UTBs, in between these meditation sessions, participants will be able to listen to Pak Merta\u2019s talks between meditation sessions and practice simple Bali Usada\u2019s special exercises. Throughout the UTB2 program, participants will observe the noble silence and adopt a vegetarian diet.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is important to note that this meditation technique does not diminish in any way the importance of medical consultation and treatments which are done by medical doctors and other professional health practitioners. Peserta akan dibimbing melakukan latihan secara intensif, non stop selama 7 hari, bertahap dari dasar hingga bisa bermeditasi secara mandiri, menjaga kesehatan, dan melakukan penyembuhan.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It takes good cooperation from the participants to create an atmosphere that is conducive in order to get the best immediate results, namely healing and serenity.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Participant terms and conditions:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ol><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants must provide seven full days, from the first day to the last day, without being interrupted by other activities.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants must have Zoom app and understand how to access\/ enter the Zoom room, join audio, activate the camera, and turn off the mic.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants must attend all events that take place via Zoom according to the existing event schedule (including scheduled independent activities).<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants prepare their own equipment for practice, including:<ul><li>Quiet room (try not to have a lot of people passing by).<\/li><li>Meditation cushion or sitting mat to be used during practice.<\/li><li>Other equipment deemed necessary.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants, who have physical limitations (disability) or in advanced age, are expected to have a companion during the class.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants, who have mental limitations (eg: Alzheimer's, bipolar, schizophrenia), are required to have a companion during the class.<\/li><li>To get maximum results, participants are advised to:<ul><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Get some help to prepare food (fruit, breakfast, lunch) and other necessities.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do exercise and have breakfast in the morning (a schedule of individual independent activities will be provided).<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reduce verbal communication with family and surrounding people, by not much talking (except for important things), not chatting, and other form of verbal communications.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do not use communication tools, do not use social media, do not watch entertainment, do not sing or hum.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the evening, you should not consume much food. Even better if participants can do intermittent fasting \u2014 (fasting without eating, only drinking water) for a period of about 14 hours to 16 hours.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reduce consuming foods that contain animal products.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do not consume instant food, packaged food, and similar products.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Try to eat raw vegetables (salad) at breakfast and lunch.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do not consume drinks that are too sweet (containing too much sugar or syrup), alcohol, or carbonated drinks.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Do not stay up late. Try to go to sleep no later than 22:00 WIB and wake up in the morning around 05:00 WIB to practice meditation.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you have health problems, participants are expected to have consulted with professional medical personnel, medical check-ups to find out health problems. Please note that this training is not a substitute for medical treatment.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants with health problems are expected to continue to take the medications they have obtained according to the doctor's recommendations.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants are still allowed to take vitamins or other food supplements that are usually consumed.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">If taking sleeping pills or sedatives, if allowed by the doctor, the levels may be
